Allistair Brownlee Foundation
The Brownlee Foundation is committed to giving children all over the United Kingdom a positive sporting experience and supporting the development of coaches and teachers in sport. The foundation hosts free, fun triathlon events for children across the UK. Set up by triathletes Alistair and Jonny Brownlee after their successes at the 2012 Olympics, the Brownlee Foundation was founded with the aim of encouraging children to enjoy sport and lead an active lifestyle.
A key focus of the work is to make the elements and sport of triathlon available to as many children as possible. With 38 events across the UK, over 30,000 children who have participated, 500 schools attended, 450 young leaders given volunteering opportunity, the Brownlee Foundation is surely building towards that goal.
