The Powercor Stawell Gift is Australia’s most iconic athletics event, held each Easter in the regional Victorian town of Stawell. More than 10,000 spectators attend the Gift each year to watch Australia’s finest professional and amateur foot racers compete on the hallowed grass tracks of Central Park.

The Stawell Gift Carnival is headlined by the famous 120m Stawell Gift Handicap race. It is the richest foot race in Australia with winners of the Men’s and Women’s Gift each running away with a $40,000 first prize cheque. The live national broadcast on Easter Monday has become part of Australian sporting tradition winning it’s time slot nationally and in each Australian capital city and delivering millions of dollars in advertising value to partners.
