Super League Triathlon are delighted to announce the appointment of Robert Puestow as the company’s Chief Operating Officer.

Robert has been in the events industry for nearly 20 years and delivered some of the largest global triathlon events.

He has been responsible for two Triathlon World Championships – Hamburg 2007 and London 2013 – the Olympic Test event in London in 2011 as well as the Olympic Triathlon event in 2012.

Prior to joining Super League, Robert served for five years as Strategic Business Development Manager at ACTIVE Network, the world’s largest provider of Online Registration for the Mass Participation industry, where he worked closely with the likes of A.S.O., London Marathon, CSM ACTIVE and many more.

Robert takes over from Michael Brown, who will still be running the Qualifier in Ottawa as well as working on potential new races in North America, with the aim of helping to take Super League’s events to the next level and providing operational excellence.

He said:

I have seen triathlon events all over the world on all different levels and after a while things can become pretty standard – but Super League is a game-changer.

Super League Triathlon screams of excitement and turns a traditionally participation driven sport into a spectator spectacle.

As we grow audiences on TV as well as on-site we now need to build out our internal structures to keep up with the growth.

Michael D’hulst, Super League co-founder and CEO, said:

We are delighted to have Robert as part of the Super League team.

He has extensive experience of delivering high quality triathlon events and his knowledge, drive and determination will be important for us as we aim to quickly expand for our biggest Championship Series yet after the Olympics and even further beyond.

We also wish to thank Michael Brown for all of his hard work and look forward to working with both him and Robert to help take Super League to the next level.
