19 May 2021 (LONDON) – Hill+Knowlton Strategies (H+K), one of the world’s leading public relations firms, has won a brief from Mana Group, the entertainment company launched by former triathlete Chris McCormack.

H+K’s scope focuses on the brand’s Pho3nix Foundation, a non-profit organisation that leverages sports to enhance underprivileged children’s health and well-being.

Jamie Corr, Managing Director of Sports at H+K London, commented: “The Pho3nix Foundation’s mission aligns perfectly with our agency’s commitment of communicating sport as a force for good. We’re extremely proud to be supporting the new Sub 7 Sub 8 challenge; an incredible physical endeavour for a great cause.”

The Foundation’s Sub 7 Sub 8 challenge will see four renowned triathletes attempt to complete a full triathlon in under seven (men) or eight hours (women). The ‘Defy the Impossible’ campaign tells the real stories of the athletes and shares the power of chasing seemingly unachievable goals.

Chris McCormack, CEO, Mana Group, said: “We were impressed by the creative thinking H+K showed and their passion for making sport accessible to all. The team clearly understood our mission to inspire the next generation of athletes.”

H+K’s remit includes raising the profile of the organisation and its blockbuster event with the public and among the sports community ahead of Spring 2022. The win is the latest in a period of growth for H+K’s Sports practice, who recently also won a mandate with Right To Dream, building an eco-system of academies, professional football clubs & educational institutions around the world.
