The countdown to the 2026 Laguna Phuket Triathlon is officially underway following a press conference in Bangkok, delivered with the support of Mana Asia and bringing together event organisers, government representatives and key partners ahead of the race’s 32nd edition.
For Mana Asia, the event is another opportunity to bring together operational expertise, endurance sport experience and local knowledge to support the delivery and continued growth of a landmark event within the Asia-Pacific endurance landscape.
The press conference brought together key stakeholders including Mr. Paul Wilson, Managing Director of Laguna Phuket; Kie Chanakarn Lurkraisit; Ms. Wilailuk Ruangphon, representing Phuket; Ms. Lalada Kaewduangtien, Affiliations Team Lead at Thai Airways International; and Mr. Sasitat Kulsubtrakul, Managing Director of TriHub.
Taking place on Sunday, 15 November, the Laguna Phuket Triathlon will once again welcome professional and amateur athletes from around the world to Phuket, continuing a history that has established the event as one of the region’s most recognisable endurance races.
The press conference highlighted Laguna Phuket’s continued investment in the athlete experience, including race management, safety, recovery and event facilities, alongside its commitment to creating an event that welcomes athletes of all levels.
The 2026 programme will include Standard Triathlon, Sprint, Team Relay and Duathlon racing, with the signature course combining a 1.8km swim through the Andaman Sea and Laguna Phuket lagoon, a 50km bike through Phuket’s coastline, hills and local villages, and a 12km run around Laguna Phuket.
A strong international professional field is also set to line up, further reinforcing the event’s international standing and giving amateur athletes the opportunity to race on the same course as some of the sport’s leading names.
Beyond the press conference, Mana Asia will play a key operational role in the planning and delivery of the 2026 Laguna Phuket Triathlon, working closely with Laguna Phuket and event partners across event operations, including the delivery of race timing, as preparations build towards race weekend.
